In partnership with Grassroots Soccer, Castrol is rolling out the Castrol Skillz Holiday Programme to 4,500 children during the extended 2010 FIFA World Cup ™ school break. The initiative is part of Castrol’s legacy programme established after company announced a six year partnership with FIFA for the 2009 and 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup events and the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cup™ tournaments.
The Castrol Skillz Holiday Programmes will take place in and around Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, Polokwane, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria and Soweto, Richards Bay and Phalabrowa mining communities, bringing the total number of camps to 45. At each camp, 100 learners between the ages of 12 and 16 will participate in an intensive five-day Skillz Development programme.
