“I give motivational talks to aspiring young athletes occasionally at football tournaments and sport awards dinners. I played for the South African student basketball team at the World Student Games in Spain, 1999 – did not play football in this year! I have always played both basketball and football simaltaneously and in competitive leagues! I continue to play basketball for the Wits Student team to date.”

“I retired from international football after the African Women’s Champs in 2004 to focus on my audit articles (work). I was also injured and unhappy with certain issues relating to development of women’s football in SA! I have since continued to play football socially, manage teams and coach to assist wherever possible with the upliftment of women’s football in the country. This led to my nomination in 2007 as a top 3 finalist for the SA Woman of the Year award in Sport.”
