Coach’s Story:
“I have lost close family members and friends to HIV and I therefore find it essential to talk openly about the virus and raise some awareness to this deadly but preventable disease. I know the disease, its origins and spread are sometimes mystified especially in Africa due to our different and unique culture but there are facts which can help us understand this disease. It is therefore essential to shed light on this disease from a grassroots level. Abstinence can prevent the disease. At a young age, with your futures in your hands, abstinence, in my opinion, is most important. Working hard at school and enjoying the game of soccer are the other two.”
