How He’s Training: Seb was in Rwanda last week, Detroit the week before, Paris week before that, Amsterdam week before that, Milan week before that, Nice week before that – this week I am in Amsterdam, Cologne, France and then New York, so getting weird looks from fellow passengers as I run round airports and planes.

Message: 33 million people are HIV Positive in this world, 22 million of them live in Sub-Saharan Africa. 65% in a region that has only 10% of the World’s population. 4,100 people die from AIDS daily in Sub-Saharan Africa and 12.1 million children has been orphaned by AIDS in Africa. 1,000 children contract the disease daily. Currently 2.1 million Africans are on life saving ARV’s, yet 4.9 million people need the drugs but do not have access to them. Since receiving significant funds to fight HIV Aids in 2003, Rwanda’s prevalence has dropped from 5% to 2.8%. The money works, I have seen it with my own eyes.
