Name: Scott Wolf

Age: 41

Running History: I ran the NYC Marathon in 2003. I vowed it would be my first and last. I am breaking that vow to run again for GRS. I am committed to running it in under 4 hours.

How He’s Training: Daily short runs, with long runs on the weekend. Will soon be enlisting my 4 month old son Jackson as a training partner in his jogging stroller, along with my wife Kelley on the bike with a bag of Powerbars and Gatorade.

GRS Connection: Met Ethan walking on the Great Wall of China for Cancer last year. Learned about GRS and wanted to jump in to help. I also loved soccer as a kid, and have been involved in pediatric AIDS charities for the last 12 years.

Message: To anyone who is supporting my run, THANK YOU! Grass Roots Soccer is exactly the kind of ground level organization that can help slow and eventually stop the spread of AIDS among young people in Africa. These children deserve our help. I will train and run hard to honor your commitment to this important cause, and this amazing organization.
