Name: Jason Solomon

Age: 40

Running History: Ran the NYC Marathon in 2003 and 2006. I missed my time miserably in ‘03. I refocused in ‘06, took training seriously and broke my 4-hour goal. For 2009, the goal is to finish without any hammy pulls, tweaked knees or ankle sprains, and to support a great cause in GRS!

How He’s Training: I run at least 5 days a week. Its been cool in NYC all Spring and I’ve been running up the Hudson River whenever possible.

GRS Connection: Scott Wolf’s connection to Ethan Z. Scott and I ran the NYC Marathon in ‘03, and agreed to do it again in our 40s. GRS gave us the reason to make it happen!

Message: I’m proud to support Grass Roots Soccer’s ‘goal’ of raising awareness, promoting prevention and reducing the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS through soccer programs. Please support my run for GRS!!
