Age: 30 (31 for the marathon!)

Running History: I transitioned from swimmer to runner in 2001 with my first Kentucky Derby half-marathon. I’m probably faster in the water, but aiming for a good time for the NYC marathon. I ran my first full marathon last year in Chicago.

How She’s Training: Same program I worked on with the Chi marathon, only adding in sprints to get a better time…and laying off the bourbon and gingers.

Message: I’m running for GRS because I know their approach is effective at helping young people protect themselves against HIV and AIDS and because I believe the entire GRS team is composed of Rockstars.
