Grassroot Soccer (GRS) has been selected for the second year to be an Official Charity Partner of the ING New York City Marathon to be held on November 7, 2010.
You can gain guaranteed entry to one of the top marathons in the world by fundraising for GRS. The New York City Marathon goes through all five boroughs, and has over 40,000 participants from all over the globe. Last year the GRS Team raised over $130,000!
This year’s Marathon Teams goal is to raise $200,000 to provide effective HIV prevention to 8,000 youth throughout Africa. To reach this goal, team members commit to fundraising levels of $3,000 or $5,000.
$3,000 Level; sponsors 120 youth with HIV prevention education and includes:
