Grassroot Soccer’s mission is to provide African youth with the knowledge, skills and support to live HIV-free. But it takes a village, and we need everyone’s help! The magnitude of the HIV epidemic demands that everyone contribute in whatever way they can – and that includes you! There’s always something going on at GRS, whether it’s a new program being launched in Africa or an event being held in your area!

Donate Now - GRS relies on the donations of individuals, groups, organizations, and companies to fund its programs throughout Africa. Every little bit helps, and it takes as little as $25 to put a student through the proven-effective SKILLZ Curriculum.

Hold a “Lose the Shoes” barefoot 3v3 soccer tournament – thousands of high school and college students across the country are holding Lose the Shoes tournaments to kick AIDS in Africa. Over 50 schools have raised nearly $100,000 to support Grassroot Soccer. mobilizing their community to raise money and awareness about the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Commemorative Games - a nation wide campaign of commemorative games taking place in 2009 and 2010. Games will be hosted by high school, college and professional teams throughout the country, coming together to use soccer as a vehicle for positive change in the world.

Become a GRS Intern – college students and recent graduates may be interested to serve as a Grassroot Soccer Field Intern (FI). FIs serve a crucial role in the successful delivery of the Grassroot Soccer Program in many African countries. We like to think of this newly revitalized program as a “Peace Corps for soccer players” like experience. Applications for 2011-2012 Internships will be updated and available as of Nov. 1st.

Corporate Sponsorship - Grassroot Soccer relies on the support of social investors to help execute programs throughout Africa, and to support fundraising efforts in the United States. Check out our GRS Partners page to learn more about our current partners, and contact us for more information.
